Bulletproof Matcha Latte (Dairy free)

Diary Free Bulletproof Matcha Latte




If you start everyday with a coffee and find yourself grabbing another by mid-morning, then you should try a Bulletproof Matcha Latte. Swapping your morning coffee with a Bulletproof Matcha Latte is a great way to get your brain into gear and stay sharp. It incorporates MCT brain octane oil, which gives your brain a boost, increases energy and keeps your hunger at bay. Adding matcha into the mix will not only give you all those fabulous antioxidants, the amino acid called L-theanine is going to give your brain another boost by helping increase focus and concentration. 


Ingredients

½ tsp of matcha
2 Tbsp of hot water (not boiling)
1 cup of coconut milk (almond milk also works well) 
1 to 2 Tbsp of Bulletproof MCT Brain Octane Oil
2 Tbsp of collagen or protein powder
½ tsp of rice malt syrup, maple syrup or honey (optional)

Method

1). Mix the matcha and hot water together in a cup.

2). Use a small saucepan to bring the coconut milk to a boil over medium heat. If you have a coffee machine, warm up the coconut milk using the steam wand to the same temperature as you would normally have your milk.  

3). Combine all the ingredients in a blender (add the collagen or protein powder) and blend for about 30 seconds until creamy.
