Matcha Chia Pudding

This beautiful matcha chia pudding was created by Sarah Macdonald of @sarahs_spoonful using our Everyday Grade matcha.  Chia seeds are a fantastic source of sustainable energy - packed with fiber, omega-3s and protein.  The addition of matcha provides a boost of antioxidants and essential nutrients.  Sarah has added steamed cauliflower to oats for a low carb alternative. 


Ingredients

½ tsp of Everyday Grade matcha
1 Tbsp of chia seeds
3 Tbsp of almond milk 
¼ cup of steamed cauliflower
1/3 cup of oatmeal

Toppings:
Coconut shreds
Pepitas
Banana
Peanut butter

Method

1). To make the chia pudding; mix chia seeds, matcha and almond milk in a bowl or cup.  Stir well and leave in the fridge overnight.

2). To make the oats; add blended, steamed cauliflower to normal oats and cook as usual.  You can add a little vanilla essence and a touch of honey.

3). Remove the chia pudding from the fridge, add the cauli-oats and toppings.
