This gorgeous recipe was created for us by Sarah Macdonald of @sarahs_spoonful using Masuta Matcha Everyday Grade. These Matcha Magic Bars are so simple to make and the perfect guilt free treat. These bars are gluten free, vegan and refine sugar free.
70 grams silken tofu
1 cup almond milk
2 tsp Masuta Matcha
2 tbsp rice malt syrup
1 sachet agar agar
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup almonds
1 tbsp hemp seed oil
1). To make the base, blend the dates, almonds & oil. Press into a tray and place in the freezer.
2). Combine tofu, almond milk & syrup and blend.
3). Place into a saucepan, add vegan gelatine and bring to the boil, then simmer for a few moments.
4). Remove from the heat and stir in the matcha, then pour mixture over the base.
5). Add any toppings & then place in the fridge and allow to set for at least an hour before slicing.
